Heat Eliminate Bucks
The Miami Heat beat the Milwaukee Bucks in 5 games with a final score of 103-94. Veteran Guard Goran Dragic and newcomer Jimmy Butler led the team in points by scoring 17 a piece. The game was close even though the current NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo suffered an unfortunate ankle sprain in Game 4.
All-star Khris Middleton led the Bucks with 23 points in 42 minutes of play in a losing effort supported by Center Brook Lopez and Guard Donte DiVincenzo with 15 and 17 respectively.
The Difference
The 3-time NBA champions was just too much as they outscored the Bucks 33-18 in the 2nd quarter which was the difference in this game.Another difference maker is definitely the absence of current Most Valuable Player Giannis Antetokounmpo.
It did not help that the Heat again had a balance distribution of points among its players.
Heat Support
Again, the Heat had balance scoring as six players ended the game in double digits. The Bucks were left guessing who will explode every game.Aside from the consistency of Goran Dragic, players like Butler, Adebayo, Herro, Nunn or even Olynyk are just waiting for their chance to explode.
What’s next for Bucks
Being the best team in the NBA did not prevent the elimination of the Milwaukee bucks from the playoffs. They need to address their lack of shot creator and playmaker options.Once a wall has been made by opposing teams against Giannis, it seems that the Bucks’ offense are silenced.
However, when the MVP was sidelined due to injury. The Bucks showed that they are more dangerous when they execute motion offense and not solely relying on Giannis.
In the off season, the Bucks management have to address the issue or they just might see their best player changing outfits during the 2021 Free agency.
Heat awaits their next opponent
The Heat have an advantage of more rest and more preparations as the other bracket are far from over.Although the Raptors are down by 1 game against the Celtics, it is hard to just dismiss the heart of a champion.
If the Celtics win, it will only be a short break for the Heat and they will face an in form Celtics led by Jason Tatum, Jalen Brown, and Kemba Walker.
The Erik Spoelstra-led team have to go back to the drawing board and prepare for their next opponent as either of the two teams are surely a big challenge for them to reach the finals.
Exciting games ahead.
