The G.O.A.T. signs with a fellow G.O.A.T. as Manny Pacquiao will now be managed by Conor McGregor.

The eight-division champion signed with McGregor's Paradigm Sports Management on Tuesday.

Pacquiao and McGregor have been linked to a potential boxing match after the latter made his pro boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

A possible fight will likely be more possible now that both are under the same management team.

Pacquiao signs with McGregor's Paradigm

The boxing great announced earlier today that he has officially signed with the McGregor-ran management.

“I am proud to partner with Paradigm Sports Management and am excited for the opportunities that Audie Attar and PSM have to offer,” Pacquiao said in a press release.

“One thing I want everyone to remember is to always think positively. Never think negatively; that is the beginning of your downfall. Everything is possible,” he added.

Talks of possibly working together for a fight have already been running even before McGregor faced Donald Cerrone at UFC 246. McGregor hinted that "there were negotiations going on.”

“Me and Manny, there’s been talks about the fight. There was an offer made on that … just not yet,” McGregor said.

Next blockbuster fight?

McGregor has focused more on his entrepreneurial pursuits lately but if his UFC return earlier this year is an indication, he still a top talent in combat sports in general. He was able to hold his own in his professional boxing debut against Mayweather before his lack of experience showed.

Pacquiao on the other hand is still chopping off younger contenders at 41. His recent performance against Keith Thurman last July 2019 showed that his power and precision is still there.

Both fighters have the financial leverage to choose what step to take next and both can focus on a potential boxing match if they want to. Being under one management can possibly produce the biggest payday in boxing history given the draw both can bring.

People already have had enough of the tease and would want to see the two finally fight either in boxing or in MMA.
