Manchester United has quietly climbed to Fifth place in the Premier League and they are suddenly being talked about again.

It was all good news on Sunday after Bruno Fernandes scored his first goal for the Red Devils and Anthony Martial dazzled to double the lead in United's 3-0 victory over Watford.

United also won over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last Monday to put them up on fifth in the league table.

Manchester United defeats Watford

United signed Fernandes in January and made immediate impact, converting a penalty with a Josef Martinez-esque hop and assuredness.

Watford almost scored an equalized a little after halftime but VAR ruled it out. Martial would punish Watford for a few minutes before slipping behind the line. Foster was able to make a save but Martial chipped it back in. Mason Greenwood sealed game in the 75th minute with a left-footer

The Red Devils will have a loaded schedule this March, visiting Everton, hosting the Manchester derby, traveling to Tottenham and welcoming Sheffield United.

Man United to make Champions League?

The two-year ban UEFA issued on two-season champion Manchester City automatically putting whoever finishes fifth on the final Champions League qualifying spot. City is likely to finish top four for what its worth.

Those last two games for Manchester United will decide if they make Champions League. They have won three straight for just the third time.

We'll see if it can stay that way.

Can the Red Devils make it to Champions League? Who will be their toughest competition on the way there? Let's talk about it in the comments below.
