
Los Angeles Lakers superstar and basketball legend Kobe Bryan died Sunday in a helicopter crash. He was 41 at the time of death.
Officials have confirmed that Bryant was a passenger on board a helicopter that crashed in the suburb of Calabasas in Los Angeles.
Bryant, along with four other people were killed as they were allegedly traveling on the 41-year old's private helicopter.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the fatal crash.

Bryant was an 18-time NBA All-Star, a five-time NBA champion, and was voted the NBA’s Most Valuable Player in 2008.
He was also part of the 2008 and 2012 USA Men’s Basketball team that won two gold medals in the Olympics.
In 2018, Bryant won an Academy Award for “Dear Basketball,” a short film based on a poem he wrote before retiring in 2016.
