Saturday features a bantamweight rematch between champion Amanda Nunes (18-4) and challenger Germaine de Randamie (9-3). This time, they're fighting for a title.
UFC 245 features three championship contests, with the women's bantamweight title fight being one. It's a fascinating fascinating match up on paper considering how both were on their second career UFC fights when they first met.
Nunes holds both the 135lbs and 145lbs title and hasn’t lost in over five years. De Randamie on the other hadn't has not lost in over six years, with the last loss coming from Nunes herself back in 2013.
Though de Randamie has improved on the ground, It's still yet to be tested against Nunes again. Allowing Nunes to get top position still might not be a good idea regardless of what level of defensive improvement she shows.
Striking wise, de Randamie has higher credentials due to her impressive kickboxing career but has yet to show it in MMA. Aside from the fact that standing and banging with Nunes is a bad idea, the latter has scored more striking-related finishes than de Randamie in MMA.

Both Nunes and de Randamie have now held UFC gold since their first meeting. The two have vastly improved from the last encounter.
De Randamie has battled through her own share of injuries after reportedly being nearly blinded. Nunes on the other hand feels unstoppable in her prime stage as she has made a case for best women in MMA ever.
Nunes and de Randamie share a common opponent in Holly Holm. The former knocked Holm out while the latter won the women's featherweight title through her.

Nunes was able to time de Randamie’s kicks in the first fight. The Brazilian used it to set up a clinch and take down the Dutch kickboxer. She would then dominate on top to finish de Randamie with punches and elbows.
De Randamie on the other hand has shown improvement as a defensive wrestler since that fight. She has displayed consistency when she defended Holly Holm’s takedown attempts in their 2017 fight.
